Tybee Beautification Association
Cemetery Committee
Low Country Boil
September 18, 2004
The Tybee Beautification
Association Cemetery Committee had a Low Country
Boil to benefit the Memorial Park Cemetery Fund
on Saturday, September 18th at Memorial Park
Pavilion. The group would like to take this
opportunity to thank the residents of Tybee and
the surrounding areas for the support that was
given. With all of the members of TBA working on
the project, the group sold over 300 plates of
shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, slaw, brownies
and tea. A great time was enjoyed by all who
attended.
We would like to give a special thanks to Eddie
Crone, who came up with the idea for the Low
Country Boil. He not only supplied the shrimp
and many other items, he also provided four
great cooks for the event. Eddie Crone is a city
councilman and a member of Tybee Beautification.
Thank you Tybee for a very successful event.
With your support, the restoration of the
Memorial Park Cemetery is truly becoming a
reality.
